Position Clinical Neuropsychologist

Job Description Join our group as we grow to meet the needs of our expanding referral base. This is an exciting time to be a part of the Neuropsychology Team at Alegent Creighton Health!
Our new neuropsychologist will work in the Neuropsychology Program based out of Immanuel Medical Center, a state-of-the-art tertiary care facility in northern Omaha. The Immanuel campus houses a full-service hospital, inpatient pediatric, adult, and geriatric psychiatric units, Cancer Center, Rehabilitation Center, and Specialty Spine Hospital. A new 35-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit is scheduled to open in February 2013, and plans for a multidisciplinary Neuroscience Institute are in development.
Our new neuropsychologist will provide evaluative and consultative services to the Alegent Health and greater Omaha-area community. Consult requests are received from various referral sources, including physiatrists, primary care physicians, neurologists, neurosurgeons, psychiatrists, geriatricians, government agencies, insurance companies, and attorneys. Populations served include those with diagnoses of developmental disability, mental illness, stroke, head injury, epilepsy, spinal cord injury, brain tumor and aneurysm, movement disorders, cancer, dementia, and chronic medical conditions including COPD, diabetes, and heart failure.
