Position Neuropsychologist--Grand Rapids, Michigan

Job Description Spectrum Health Medical Group in Grand Rapids, Michigan has an opening for an adult neuropsychologist to join our growing department. Responsibilities include an approximate 50-50 split between conducting outpatient and inpatient neuropsychological evaluations. Outpatient evaluations will target a primarily adult neurological patient population. Typical referral problems include memory disorders, neurodegenerative disorders, dementia, head injury, stroke, psychiatric issues, and pre- and post-neurosurgery evaluations. Additionally, inpatient consults will address patients with acute neurocognitive impairment and PM&R related issues, assist with mental capacity evaluations, and aid in discharge recommendations. Inpatient sites would include two separate local hospital campuses. Opportunities exist to conduct research, as well as to engage in individual psychotherapy. Obtaining board certification within several years of accepting the position is expected and assistance with the board certification process is provided.

Applicants who will be considered for the position must meet the following requirements:
-Possess a doctoral degree in psychology from an APA-Accredited program
-Have completed an APA-Accredited Internship
-Have completed (or be in the process of completing) a two-year fellowship in Clinical
-Be licensed or license-eligible in the state of Michigan
-Be eligible for Board Certification in Clinical Neuropsychology
