Job Description
|
We are seeking two Clinical Psychometrists to join the Department of Clinical Neuropsychology at Barrow Neurological Institute at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center. The department typically has 10 or more faculty/staff neuropsychologists and 6 post-doctoral residents. Selected individuals will administer, score, and record neuropsychological tests according to guidelines and protocols under the supervision of a neuropsychologist and in collaboration with residents. The individual will provide written and verbal behavioral observations to the supervising neuropsychologist and/or resident. Duties may also include computerized test scoring and data entry. Good computer skills (at minimum including Microsoft Office suite) are required. In addition, selected individuals will be responsible for maintaining test supplies, perform basic statistical analyses, and assist in subject recruitment for clinical trials. Bachelor's degree in psychology or closely related field required, master's degree preferred. Certification by the National Association of Psychometrists (NAP) and two years experience in the healthcare field with direct patient contact is preferred.
