Position Pediatric Neuropsychologist - Wilmington, DE

Job Description The Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children is accepting applications for a full-time Pediatric Neuropsychologist.

This psychologist will have a background in providing neuropsychological screenings and evaluations at a full-scale pediatric hospital. Competency in skills for ages 3-18 is expected. The candidate should have specific experience in assessing concussion and post-concussion syndrome as this will be a core responsibility. Collaboration with the full range of health care providers, including physicians and therapy services, is an essential component. Both consultation and liaison, as well as team participation, are service models. Additional populations may include patience with brain tumors, seizures, genetic/metabolic disorders, learning disabilities and moderate/severe traumatic brain injury. This candidate will also have strong psychotherapy skills and a solid grounding in various psychiatric disorders and evidence-based treatments. Potential for developing clinics at affiliated sites in New Jersey exists.

Required qualifications include:
- A Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited clinical psychology program
- APA-accredited internship training
- Postdoctoral specialty training in clinical neuropsychology
- Licensure or license eligibility in the state of Delaware
- Eligibility/intent to apply for Neuropsychology Board Certification

Preference will be given to candidates who meet neuropsychology training guidelines accepted by NAN and Division 40 of APA. Bilingual candidates are especially encouraged to apply.

The Division of Behavioral Health includes twenty psychologists, two neuropsychologists, three psychiatrists, an APA-approved internship program and a postdoctoral fellowship training program. A.I.
