Position Neuropsychologist

Job Description The Department of Neurology, University of California, Irvine, is recruiting for a Ph.D. or Psy.D in psychology from an accredited university or professional school approved by the American Psychological Association, including didactic and experimental training in neuropsychology and psychopathology.

The successful candidate will be providing complete neuropsychological evaluations for a wide variety of neurosurgical, neurological, psychiatric, neuro-rehabilitation patients & their families. The person will also be collaborating with treating Faculty & an allied health professional team to plan & direct each individual member's treatment program.

Qualified candidates will have a Ph.D. or Psy.D in psychology from an accredited university or professional school approved by the American Psychological Association, including didactic and experimental training in neuropsychology and psychopathology. Additionally required are at least one (1) year of pre-doctoral internship with specialized training in neuropsychology, 2000 hours of formal post-doctoral training program in neuropsychology in medical settings with neurology, neuro-rehabilitation and/or neurosurgical services or an equivalent combination of training, supervision and experience, and a current valid license to practice psychology in the State of California. The ideal candidate must have a National Provider Identifier (NPI), or obtain an NPI, prior to employment start date.

Salary: Hourly $39.56 - 42.83
Work Schedule: 8-5, M-F
