Job Description

The Burke Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Rehabilitation Psychologist and/or Neuropsychologist to organize, lead and direct the Rehabilitation Psychology and Neuropsychology Department and ensure that a high level of care is given to all patients. Provides primary patient care for all patients and families in the hospital, develop new programs and evaluate program effectiveness.
The Burke Rehabilitation Hospital is a free standing 150 bed rehabilitation hospital in White Plains, New York specializing in brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, orthopedic and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation.
Candidates should have a PhD or PsyD in clinical psychology from an APA accredited doctoral program with postgraduate training in clinical neuropsychology and/or rehabilitation psychology. Minimum 3-5 years post-doctoral experience in rehabilitation psychology and/or neuropsychology. Experience working with Joint Commission and CARF required. Must be licensed to practice psychology in the state of New York. Board certification with the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) is preferred. The psychologist who is not yet board certified will be expected to obtain board certification with the ABPP within 5 years of hiring.
