The Center for Transitional Neuro-Rehabilitation at Barrow Neurological Institute (BNI) is seeking two neuropsychologists or rehabilitation psychologists interested in the neurorehabilitation of patients with acquired brain injuries in a holistic milieu-oriented center. The CTN is the last step of the BNI rehabilitation continuum and is designed to transition patients to their homes, communities, school, and work environments.
One opportunity is a staff position for which entry level professionals are also welcome to apply. The second opportunity is a midlevel position, which has some associated administrative responsibilities.
Candidates should have experience in psychotherapy with neurological patients and their families. Skills in Neuropsychological/psychological assessment and cognitive rehabilitation are also preferable. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be a part of a vibrant interdisciplinary team composed of speech, physical, occupational, and recreational therapists, a dietician, physiatrists, and a psychiatrist. Research interest is highly desired and resident training is available.
Candidates must have successfully completed a Fellowship program in Neuropsychology or Rehabilitation Psychology. Board certification in Neuropsychology or Rehabilitation Psychology is preferred.
