Position Neuropsychologist

Job Description Cleveland Clinic Neurological Institute announces a search for a neuropsychologist with specific interest and experience in neurodegenerative diseases including dementia and movement disorders. This individual will join the staff of the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health in Las Vegas, Nevada and join a growing program within the multidisciplinary outpatient clinic. The team currently is comprised of Sarah Banks, PhD ABPP-CN, Justin Miller, PhD, a postdoctoral fellow, neuropsychology technicians and practicum students.

Duties will include clinical interview, neuropsychological assessment with the assistance of a technician, report writing, some protected research time and educational opportunities both in the supervision of a postdoctoral fellow, and practicum students from a specialized program at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. In addition to neurodegenerative diseases we see former football players, interest in sports neuropsychology can certainly be accommodated but is not essential to the position.

Depending on the interests of the candidate, current research opportunities include access to a large patient database of neuropsychological testing and imaging data, other neuroimaging opportunities, and opportunities for involvement in a large study of professional fighters (boxers and mixed martial arts fighters).

Applicants should have completed a doctoral degree from an APA-accredited program in clinical psychology, completed an internship with experience in neuropsychology and have completed a postdoctoral fellowship with specialization in neuropsychology. Eligibility for licensure in Nevada is essential, with the expectation of the successful candidate pursuing board certification.
