Position Clinical Neuropsychologist

Job Description The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), Intramural Research Program, seeks an applicant for a full-time clinical neuropsychologist position. Responsibilities include conduct of clinical and research neuropsychological evaluations within the NIH Clinical Center, Bethesda, MD. Populations include individuals with HIV, epilepsy, various dementia syndromes, brain tumors, movement disorders, immunodeficiencies, psychiatric disorders, and genetic disorders, but diagnostic emphasis changes over time. Evaluations are conducted in both in and outpatient settings and with child and adult subjects. Responsibilities also include supervision of trainees and psychometrists. A broad range of collaborative research opportunities is also available.

The position is available on or about July, 2015.

Requirements include psychologist licensure, a Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA/CPA- accredited program in clinical psychology, successful completion of an APA/CPA-accredited internship, and completion of a to-year clinical neuropsychology postdoctoral fellowship. Board certification by ABCN is preferred. Applicants should have prior experience working in a hospital setting with interdisciplinary teams, evaluating neurologic patient, and conducting evaluations on both children and adults. Excellent written/oral skills are also required. Spanish-speaking neuropsychologists are encouraged to apply.
