Job Description Assistant Professor/Adult Clinical Neuropsychologist: The Department of Behavioral Medicine & Psychiatry at the Robert C. Byrd Health Sciences Center of West Virginia University School of Medicine has an immediate opening for a clinical neuropsychologist at the rank of Assistant Professor in the clinical track. This is a clinical position with excellent teaching responsibilities.

Applicants must have completed an APA/CPA accredited clinical psychology graduate program, with an APA/CPA accredited internship with a neuropsychology focus, and a 2-year postdoctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology. Applicants must be eligible to sit for ABPP in clinical neuropsychology. A focus on adult clinical neuropsychology is necessary. Immediate eligibility for licensure in West Virginia is required.

Clinical responsibilities focus on neuropsychological evaluations of a rich variety of neurological, neurosurgical, medical and psychiatric populations. This a clinical position with strong teaching and supervision expectations within our well-known, training-focused APA-accredited clinical psychology internship, which has a neuropsychology focus, and our APPCN postdoctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology. Additional teaching opportunities exist with medical students and residents within the department and broader Health Sciences Center on topics relevant to psyhchology/neuropsychology. Research involvement is possible, and the Center for Advanced Imaging at WVU includes a Siemens 3.0 Tesla magnet.
