Neuropsychologist - Sports Concussion Experience Preferred

Kaiser Permanente Vacaville Medical Center has a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic and team oriented Clinical Neuropsychologist with an emphasis in Sports Concussion. The medical center is a level 2 trauma center that provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient medical services to Kaiser Permanente members in the geographic area between Sacramento and the San Francisco Bay Area. In this role, you will provide sports concussion services as well as general neuropsychological consultation and evaluations for a broad range of patients with neurological and medical conditions within the medical center. Involvement in our ongoing research programs is encouraged and you will also be a co-director of the Center's new Sports Concussion Clinic. In addition, there may be other opportunities including clinical supervision to postdoctoral neuropsychology and mental health residents, as necessary. The position is 32 hours per week with benefits.

Qualifications include:
" Previous experience working with inpatients and outpatients (children/adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients) in a dynamic interdisciplinary team setting
" Attending an APA-accredited program in clinical or counseling psychology
" Completion of an APA-accredited internship in clinical or counseling psychology (will consider non-APA internship with appropriate level of training and experience)
" Completion of a formal postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology
" A current and valid license to practice psychology in California

Preferred qualifications include:
" At least one to two years of experience diagnosing, assessing, and managing sports concussions
" At least one to two years of experience administering, interpreting, and certifying ImPACT test results
" Experience co-directing sports concussion clinic operations
" Experience providing community education about sports concussion to athletes, parents, educators, and professionals
