Position ASSISTANT PROFESSOR/CLINICAL NEUROPSYCHOLOGIST

Job Description Thomas Jefferson University/Sidney Kimmel Medical College has an opening for a full-time Clinical Neuropsychologist to join a large hospital-based Neuropsychology Program within the Department of Neurology. This position will work closely with an internationally-known epilepsy treatment and surgery program, but general neuropsychological skills are required. Evaluations for the gamut of neurologic disorders are conducted with referrals from the inpatient epilepsy program, concussion center, Parkinson's Disease program, dementia program, and outpatient neurology service the most common.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge and competencies in all areas of neuropsychological assessment relevant to a medical setting, yet show signs of developing an area of specific expertise. Excellent assessment, diagnostic, report writing, and communication skills are required. The candidate will provide supervision to neuropsychology interns and post-doctoral fellows. The ideal candidate will have the interest and skills to conduct clinically-oriented research in neuropsychology.
