Job Description

Hennepin County Medical Centers seeks a full-time Neuropsychologist to work in our expanding Neuropsychology Department.
Responsibilities
" Conduct neuropsychological evaluations with adult patients presenting with a variety of neurocognitive conditions primarily in an outpatient setting but with one afternoon of inpatient consultation.
" Conduct initial interviews with patients and/or caregivers.
" Work with a psychometrist to administer and score neuropsychological tests.
" Interpret test results, write comprehensive reports, and provide direct feedback to the patient and referent.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education/Work experience
" Doctoral degree in psychology obtained from an APA-approved program with appropriate clinical training AND
" Completion of an APA approved internship AND
" One or more years of supervised post-doctoral experience as a neuropsychologist in a medical or related setting AND
" Training appropriate to the area of specialization is required.
" Post-doctoral training and experience in Neuropsychology, including board-certified or board eligible in Clinical Neuropsychology (ABPP), is highly desired.
Licensure
" Certified (or eligible for certification) as a Licensed Psychologist in the State of Minnesota. Candidates completing their postdoctoral experience will be considered at the Clinical Psychologist level.
