Job Description Summary

Digital Cognition Technologies, Inc. (www.digitalcogtech.com) is a rapidly growing company that has developed new assessment technology that enables healthcare professionals to detect subtle cognitive impairment.

We are looking for a Sr. Neuropsychologist to join our team and to help us grow this exciting new venture with the potential to significantly benefit the medical community. The Sr. Neuropsychologist will work closely with senior management and scientists to oversee clinical efficacy and provide neuropsychological expertise related to product development, commercialization, regulatory approval, research and future sales.

Duties/Activities

Provide clinical expertise in cognitive neuroscience and neuropsychological assessment related to the dementias and other neurologic disorders.

Serve as the clinical expert in interactions with potential clients, investors, regulatory agencies, insurers, and in other public forums.

Work in collaboration with other staff to design, conduct, and report on research pertaining to current and future products.

Review and analyze the results of neuropsychological tests that have been administered to subjects.

Engage as needed in all aspects of business development, sales, and operations.

Create clinical documentation to support regulatory applications as well as future commercial sales.

Work collaboratively to author manuscripts and other scientific materials.

Qualifications

PhD in an APA approved program in clinical or experimental psychology or related field and one or two-year APA approved postdoctoral fellowship/residency in neuropsychology.

Board certified or board eligible in clinical neuropsychology.

Licensed or license eligible in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

A minimum of 2 years' clinical experience. Training in process approach and diagnostic expertise across a broad spectrum of neurologic disorders including Alzheimer's, dementias, movement disorders, neurodegenerative disorders and TBI required.

Substantial research experience and publication history, statistical knowledge and technical skills including research design.

Current, relevant, and substantial knowledge of brain imaging, biomarkers and genetics.

Biotech or Pharmaceutical experience a plus but not required.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team, in collaborative settings.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent problem-solving skills required, including creativity, resourcefulness, timeliness, and technical knowledge related to analyzing and resolving medical/administrative problems.

This is a full-time position with regular working hours Monday through Friday located in Waltham, Massachusetts.
