Assistant Professor to Associate Professor of Clinical Psychology.
Georgia State University anticipates hiring a tenure-track faculty member, beginning January or August 2017. Qualified applicants must be developing an independent research program, and have a track record of or strong potential for external funding, be committed to training in a scientist-practitioner-oriented doctoral program, and be prepared to contribute to clinical training via teaching, supervision, mentoring of graduate students, and to undergraduate instruction.
Our greatest need is for a candidate whose research and expertise contribute to programmatic strengths in clinical neuropsychology. Candidates whose research will complement current interdisciplinary strengths will also be considered. Candidates with research and/or clinical expertise with diverse cultural and/or bilingual populations, including expertise with young children and aging adults, and/or with interest in assessment supervision are particularly encouraged to apply.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. from an APA-accredited Clinical Psychology Program and be eligible for Georgia licensure (successfully completed EPPP and postdoctoral hours) at the time of appointment, with the expectation that licensure will be obtained within one year of appointment. Applicants should send a letter of application that discusses their (1) program of research/scholarship inclusive of future goals, (2) philosophy of teaching a diverse student body and evidence of teaching effectiveness, and (3) areas of clinical expertise and relevant clinical experiences with specific details about their license eligibility by the time of employment.
