Position Neuropsychologist Assistant Professor of Neurology

Job Description Description: The Department of Neurology at Vanderbilt University is seeking an excellent early career neuropsychologist for an Assistant Professor position. The position is structured for a neuropsychologist in a general neurology setting, but with a particular emphasis in degenerative conditions. Experience in movement disorders is desirable, but not essential. The candidate would be involved in the Deep Brain Stimulation, Huntington's Center of Excellence, and memory disorders clinics. The candidate would join a growing Cognitive & Behavioral Neurology Division that includes four neurologists, five neuropsychologists, and two neuroscientists.

In addition to providing outpatient care through the multidisciplinary Cognitive & Behavioral Neurology Division Memory Clinic, there is the potential for protected time for the appropriate candidate to develop an independent research program. Vanderbilt University Medical Center has outstanding neuroscience resources to support basic, clinical, and translational research activities, including the Vanderbilt Institute for Clinical & Translational Research, the Vanderbilt University Institute of Imaging Science, the Vanderbilt Brain Institute, and the Vanderbilt Memory & Alzheimer's Center. Involvement in training practicum students, psychology interns, and/or postdoctoral fellows in neuropsychology is also expected.

Position Requirements: Applicants must be licensed or license-eligible in the State of Tennessee. Applicants should also hold board certification in clinical neuropsychology or be eligible for board certification in clinical neuropsychology.
