Job Description Fullerton Neuropsychological Services (FNS) has an exciting opportunity for a licensed psychologist specializing in clinical, health and neuropsychology. An established and well-respected private practice in north Orange County, California, FNS works closely with many neurologists, pain management specialists, bariatric surgeons, primary care physicians, and others on a variety of health related issues. Our licensed psychologists perform work in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including private office, skilled nursing and assisted living facilities, and St. Jude Medical Center. The applicant should have experience in cases with combined medical and psychiatric challenges. They should be knowledgeable in crisis intervention and suicide prevention, treatment of psychological trauma, more severe mood and anxiety disorders, and personality disorders. Many patients will have co-occurring medical complexities. The applicant must show mastery of biopsychosocial case conceptualization and treatment models. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams (i.e., physicians, case managers, social workers) is imperative.

FNS is a group practice, currently with 7 licensed providers and several postdoctoral psychological assistants. It is located in Fullerton, California, part of Orange County. Fullerton is both a college town and family friendly community. California State University Fullerton is only a few miles from our office. There is a vibrant social scene, with downtown Fullerton offering an array of unique restaurants, boutiques, and live music. There are several family friendly events each year, including First Night, a family oriented New Year’s Eve street party. Fullerton is about an hour to Los Angeles, two hours to San Diego, an hour and a half to popular mountain communities (Big Bear and Lake Arrowhead), and 30 minutes to beach cities.

Qualifications: Applicants must have attended an APA accredited psychology program and have a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical psychology. They must be license eligible in California.
