Job Description Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital has expanded and opened a full 110 bed inpatient and outpatient facility in Omaha in addition to the 302 beds we have at the Lincoln campus. We are currently hiring for a full-time position available in the Neuropsychology Department of our state of the art, newly constructed Omaha, Nebraska Campus. We have an experienced department of twelve staff across the two campuses including two board certified neuropsychologists, rehabilitation psychologists and rehabilitation counselors as well as a postdoctoral program. We also have numerous practicum students training in our facilities through our relationships with the University of Nebraska and several other local colleges. Our new facility in Omaha will have a departmental staff of four full-time professionals who will have the benefit of a close relationship with the University of Nebraska Medical Center including a new academic physiatry residency program with opportunities for collaborative research with the physiatry faculty as well as our Institute for Rehabilitation Research and Engineering Staff. Frequent opportunities for departmental didactic training as well as transdisciplinary interaction and training are available.

Clinical responsibilities of this position include outpatient neuropsychological assessment and some rehabilitation counseling with patients and families. The neuropsychologist will perform detailed neuropsychological assessments with a broad range of diagnostic groups, including traumatic brain injury, mild TBI, stroke, dementia, and other neurological disorders. Madonna provides several multidisciplinary clinics which provide opportunities for briefer assessments and treatment team consultation. Training and experience in neuropsychology is required. Experience with forensic assessment is preferred. Experience across the entire spectrum of age groups, including pediatrics and geriatrics is a plus, although not required. Board certification or eligibility is a helpful qualification, although not required to be considered for the position. A doctoral degree from an APA-accredited program is expected. Must possess current NE licensure or eligible to obtain licensure within 14 months of hire.
