Position Part-Time Faculty - Clinical Psychology

Job Description Department: Clinical Psychology
Available Date: Spring 2018

Under the direction of the Clinical Psychology Program Director, this position is responsible for teaching courses in the Psy.D. Program in Clinical Psychology. Psy.D. courses utilize an executive, weekend format. Courses meet once per month at the Northern Kentucky Campus in Florence,
KY, but maintain regular, weekly assignments and engagement through iLearn, the university’s learning management system. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching along with significant expertise in the respective content area(s). Examples of expertise may include but are not limited to relevant publications/presentations, membership/leadership in relevant professional organizations, or additional training such as
post-doctoral work in a particular field. Additionally, the Instructor will be proactively involved in continuing the growth of the Clinical Psychology program through:

*Teaching at the graduate level
* Maintaining demonstrations of appropriate expertise (such as those examples listed above)
*Working collaboratively and successfully with colleagues and other university faculty
members

Course Available in Spring 2018: Biological Bases of Behavior (other courses in future terms will be announced as available)

Job Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology or similar related field from a regionally accredited
institution of higher education
*Student-driven and teaching-focused with the ability to teach both traditional and
nontraditional age students

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Experience in teaching higher education and curriculum development
* Experience with learning management systems
* Demonstrated expertise in particular content area(s) (e.g., publications, presentations, membership/leadership in professional organizations, additional post-doctoral training, etc)
