Baystate Health is seeking a Full-time Adult/Geriatric Neuropsychologist (Springfield, MA)

What You Will Do:
As the clinical neuropsychologist, you will be practicing in an outpatient medical center setting with a highly supportive and experienced team which includes three psychometrists and two neuropsychologists. This model provides an integrated team effort for seeing a broad range of complex adult/geriatric referrals. Our established program receives steady referrals from throughout the region and from a variety of specialists including internal medicine, psychiatry, neurology, rehabilitation and surgery. Therefore, the neuropsychologist will require a working knowledge base in areas such as seizure disorders, traumatic brain injury, cerebral vascular accidents, spinal cord injuries, dementia, anoxic events, cardiac disease, sleep disorders and other injuries and diseases affecting the central nervous system. This position includes participation as the lead neuropsychologist in our multidisciplinary Memory Disorders Program.

There are additional opportunities for developing collaborative relationships with subspecialty clinics (e.g. deep brain stimulation implant, pre/post-epilepsy surgery evaluations) and the neuropsychologist will have the opportunity to obtain an academic appointment, as well as to teach medical students, residents and psychology practicum students.

What You Will Need:
Doctorate in Clinical Psychology

Two year post-doctoral training in clinical neuropsychology from a medical school, academic medical center training program or equivalent (having met the Houston Conference guidelines).

An adult/geriatric neuropsychological orientation is required with previous training and experience working with this age range in a medical setting.

Licensure in MA or license eligible in MA
