NAN’s Health Outcomes and Neuropsychology Efficacy Initiative (HONE-In) is a tool for members to demonstrate the value of neuropsychological services.

Neuropsychologists are increasingly being asked to provide evidence of effectiveness to support reimbursement for neuropsychological services, yet this information is not always easily accessible to neuropsychology practitioners. HONE-In is the response to these practice challenges.

The primary goal of HONE-In is to assist NAN members in their effort to show cost effectiveness and/or cost savings, as well as effectiveness of different models of services (i.e., via telehealth). HONE-In provides article summaries and citations grouped by patient population, which can also be used as talking points in meetings or presentations about neuropsychological services. This resource also includes detailed information on how neuropsychology is useful to referral sources and consumers in adult and pediatric populations.
