TELEHEALTH RESOURCES

We have received many questions regarding our recommendations regarding how to proceed professionally during this current unprecedented health crisis. We urge you to follow the CDC guidelines and consider safe practice steps. As health care providers we have many skills that may be useful in caring for our communities.

For example, we have learned that some members have been asked to be deployed to emergency rooms and outpatient clinics to provide intake evaluations and crisis intervention. Many have also reached out regarding telehealth guidelines. Please refer to your state and federal agencies to determine the rules and regulations pertaining to telehealth.

NAN was fortunate to have Past President Dr. Munro Cullum, Dr. Kenneth Podell and Dr. Gerard Gioia present at the 2019 NAN Conference last November on Taking Neuropsychology Out of the Office: Extending Our Practice Through Telehealth Technology. Click here for access to the presentation slides.
