The goal of NAN's continuing education programming is to:
1. Provide psychologists and neuropsychologists with ongoing opportunities to expand, maintain, and update their evidence-based knowledge and professional competencies through learning activities relevant to practice, education, and science.
2. Emphasize activities designed to address both foundational and emerging issues in the field, including advances in research, clinical methods, ethical standards, and evolving technologies.
3. Enhance clinical practice by translating current empirical findings into evidence-based approaches for neuropsychological assessment, intervention, and consultation that directly improve the quality, effectiveness, and outcomes of services delivered to the public.

The National Academy of Neuropsychology is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The National Academy of Neuropsychology maintains responsibility for this program and its content.
