Code of Conduct and Behavior Policies

We value the participation of each member of the NAN community and want all attendees to have an enjoyable and fulfilling experience. Accordingly, all attendees, guests, speakers, exhibitors, and volunteers are expected to show respect and courtesy to others at all times. All communication and behavior, in-person, online, or otherwise, should be appropriate for a professional environment. Those violating these rules may be asked to leave the conference with or without a refund at the sole discretion of the National Academy of Neuropsychology.

Health and Safety

We invite all attendees, sponsors, speakers, exhibitors, volunteers and other participants to help NAN realize a safe and positive conference experience for everyone. The Annual Conference will be organized in accordance with the latest health and safety regulations, guidelines, and recommendations, as directed by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the local Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment.

As of April 27, 2022: No public health orders are currently in effect in Denver. If the public health orders are to be updated all members and attendees would be notified of the change in city mandates. For the most up to date information visit:

*If local or state guidelines and regulations were to change you may at any time be asked by the city of Denver to wear a mask indoors, show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test 48 hours prior to checking into the event.

We expect all in-person participants (including NAN employees, moderators, attendees, vendors, sponsors, speakers, and volunteers) to uphold the principles of this Code of Conduct. This Code of Conduct covers the in-person event and all related events (social or otherwise).

NAN reserves the right to take any action deemed necessary and appropriate, including immediate removal from the meeting without warning or refund, in response to any incident of unacceptable behavior, and NAN reserves the right to prohibit attendance at any future meeting, virtually or in person.
